ATTENTION DIRECTORS: New Policy for All-State BOC Festival Concert Attire

 

FOR ALL STUDENTS, REGARDLESS OF ENSEMBLE:

All students must be prepared for a concert Attire Check upon arrival at the festival on Thursday morning.

Have your concert attire in an individual garment bag to facilitate this process.

We are holding the directors from each school responsible for ensuring that their students come prepared with the correct clothing as described below:

 

WHITE FROM THE WAIST UP and BLACK FROM THE WAIST DOWN

   FULL LENGTH (to the ankle) BLACK SKIRT or FULL LENGTH (to the ankle) DRESS BLACK SLACKS

   WHITE SHIRT (button-down with collar, long sleeves, showing no cleavage and not see-through)

   SIMPLE DARK NECK TIE

   BLACK DRESS SHOES and BLACK SOCKS/HOSE (essentially no skin showing on the legs)

Other specifics to remember:

-skirts may not have a slit that goes up above the knee

-NO CAPRI PANTS

-NO LEGGINGS or YOGA-STYLE PANTS (these are NOT considered dress pants)

-NO flip-flops, casual shoes, sneaker, or sandals

-NO wild-patterened or funky ties or bow-ties

-NO suspenders

-NO jackets or hats
