Our Mission
We are a Non-Profit Organization dedicated to:
- Working for the welfare of music educators, to advance music education and to improve instructional opportunities for all.
- Developing and promoting policies and standards that mark this profession.
- Helping to unify and strengthen the music teaching profession.
- Helping to secure and maintain school music programs in Maine.
- Speaking with a common voice on matters pertaining to music education before the Maine State Board of Education.
